trip to Japan---voyage au Japon

Here are some pictures from our trip, recovering from jet lag has been brutal. I also have a lot to do to prepare for my next trip in a few days to see my family, so this is just going to be a boatload of pictures with the occasional caption...

yukata is worn typically for summer festivals in Japan, they're a lighter and less formal kimono---le yukata est typiquement porté en été pour les fêtes, c'est un kimono plus léger et moins formel

A Michelin rated sushi place, the chef has 1 star and is a real character---Un restaurant sushi une étoile, le chef est marrant aussi

the hiking was clearly getting to me at this point, three days on the mountain is just too long---trois jours en montagne et je commence à perdre la tête

this is the view from one of the rooms we stayed in, this country is so beautiful and the experience was amazing---la vue d'une de nos chambres au Japon, ce pays est tellement magnifique et l'experience était incroyable
